Mirza Ghalib's Tomb

Mirza Ghalib's Tomb is situated in Delhi as a tribute to the famed Urdu poet - Mirza Ghalib. It has become a site of great interest for the tourists in search of the romanticism of Urdu poetry.

Mirza Ghalib's Tomb cradles the grave of the famous poet which is a typical tomb structure. A longitudinal wedge known as the ‘kalam' confirms the site of the grave of the poet as is the Muslim custom. It is situated outside the courtyard of the Hazrat Nizamuddin's Tomb along with many other tombs of famed personalities in the vicinity. In the recent years Mirza Ghalib's Tomb has been covered with a marble artifice and fenced within the compound walls.
